    Funeral service for Doris Franchester Poitier, 60 a resident of Dew Gardens and Georgetown, Exuma, Bahamas who died on Saturday, September 23, 2023 will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, 10:00am at Apostolic Church of Christ, Mermaid Blvd. Officiating will be Pastor Tyrone Mott; assisted by other Ministers of The Gospel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

    Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite at Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Avenue and Talbot Street on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and again at the church on Monday from 9:00 am. until service time.
