    Funeral Service For David Anthony Dean, 69 a resident of Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera, Bahamas and formerly of Ludlow Street, New Providence, who died on Saturday, September 30, 2023 will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Centerville Seventh Day Adventist Church, Fifth Terrace, Centreville. Officiating will be Dr. Michael Toote, Pastor; assisted by Elder Sidney Forbes, Elder Michael Duvalier. Elder David Knowles, and Elder Teddy McDonald. Cremation will follow his viewing.
    IIe was predeceased by his wife: Sandra Dean; parents: Dressler and Harry Dean; brothers: Dale and Captain Anthony Dean; sisters: Daphne Dean Bostwick and Patrice Dean.
    He is survived by his sons: David Jr. and Devaughn Dean; step daughter: Sharika Gailor; daughter-in-law: Schamell Dean; sisters-in-law: Margaret Nixon, Jennymae Taylor, Erma Smith, Grace and Virginia Gaitor; brother-in-law: John Gaitor; aunt: Judy Dean of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren: Da’shca and Devon Dean and Deshi Marshall; nieces and nephews: Mrs Kara Dean-Neely, Davinia Dean, Bryanna Strachan, Dale Dean Sr. and Dale Dean Jr., Jermaene and Jyles Bostwick of Canada, Bradley Munnings, Paul and Khellan McCartney, Tashae and Mylan Dean; cousins: Arnette and Perry Dean, Myra Dean Ferguson, Kim and Garvin Dean of Huntsville, Alabama, Nakia and Anya Dean Ferguson, Lorraine Major, Glen Knowles, Omari Gardiner, Larry Newton Jr. and Dexavier Hepburn; numerous other relatives and friends: Ruthmae Cartwrfight and family, Hugh Bethell and family, Rakell Miller and family, Tino Smith, Tosobo Neely, Mary Fernander and family, Philip Bethell and family, Ronnie’s Pub family, 700 Wines and Spirit family, Shawna Nairn and family, Chante Thompson, Shavone Turnquest and family, Keith McCartney, Steve Collie, Jabby, Theresa Darling McPhee, S.     Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite at Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Avenue and Talbot Street on (TODAY) Thursday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
