    Blossom Alicia McKenzie

    Funeral Service For Mrs. Blossom Alicia McKenzie, 47 affectionately called “Sexy Bam” a resident of #25 Bishop Street, Nassau Village and formerly of Clarendon, Jamaica, who died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at Grace Community Church, Palmetto Village. Pastor William Pratt assisted by Pastor Carlyle Peart will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
    Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband: Trevor McKenzie; daughters: Tonia-Kaye Johnson and Tyra McKenzie; son: Tevin McKenzie; grandchildren: Tevin McKenzie Jr., Tevon McKenzie, Tevinique McKenzie, Jeremiah McKenzie and Mikai-Zohar Kemp; sisters and brothers: Aswald Boothe, George Carridice, Conroy Carridice, Precious Carridice, Delreita Carridice, Pauline Carridice, Gloria Ellis, Reuben Carridice, Winston Carridice and Paul Carridice; daughter-in-law: Nora McKenzie; sisters- in-law: Carol Hamilton Rose, Arleen Hamilton and Ksandra Reece Johnson; brothers-in-law: Desmond Hamilton, Rohan Hamilton and Dennis Rose; numerous nieces: Annmarie Carridice, Finola Carridice, Kayon Carridice, Samantha Carridice (Sammy Joe), Nicola Armstrong, Nicoleen Armstrong (Munchie), Melisa Taylor Williasmson, Kirah Benjanmin, Shanice Carridice, Doreen Boothe-Mills, Nadine Boothe- Goodman, Nordia Boothe, Cyshea Evans and Monique Bullard; nephews: Payline, Courtney Carridice, Rocky Dean, Oneil Carridice, Fabian Boothe (Clive), Marvin Carridice, Cornel Taylor, Cheavor Benjamin; grand-nieces: Sashelle McLeggon (Annmarie), Alexis Wallace (Becky), Rynola Fraser, Ronique Clark, Shante Armstrong, Kimone Ewen, Kiarai Barrett, Sienna Heath and Destiny Flatts, Santaya Armstrong and sisters, Chevonique Benjamin, Malaya Benjamin, Korian Carradice, Allejah Carridice Kelsea Armstrong: grand-nephews: Christmark Armstrong, Ajay Armstrong, Khalief Watson, Parren Armstrong, Lionel Butler, Shain Armstrong, Greshawn Armstrong, Stephen Armstrong, Tarique Stephenson, Michael Carridice, Jamar Carridice, Keron Carridice, Keron Benjamin, Shawn Patrick, Corey Carridice and Nickalie Carradice; and a host of other relatives and friends including: The Bahamas Football Association, United Football Club, the D 12 Crew, Granton Inniss, David Arnold (Skunk), Ricardo Bowe, Jerry Joseph, Khadene, Gem, Shelly, Renae, Kevin, Maynard, Natasha, Mitchelle, Maria, Johnny, Reynold Napoleon, Daphane, Marjorie, Myanna, staff of Poseidon’s Table, Carlene, the Adderley family, the Allen family, the Dean family, Daria Adderley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Algernon Allen and family, many others too numerous to mention.
    Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at THE CHAPEL OF MEMORIES THE NEW COMMONWEALTH FUNERAL HOME, INDEPENDENCE DRIVE on Friday from 10:00-6:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am to service time.
