    Funeral Service For Hazel Brown, 96 a resident of Smith’s Bay, Cat Island, Bahamas will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at Golden Gates Native Baptist Church, #3 Lobster Avenue, New Providence, Bahamas. Officiating will be Rev. Caroll Johnson. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, JFK Drive and Gladstone Road.
    She was predeceased by her mother: Irene Brown; father: Alfred Brown; sons: William Cooper, Elridge Johnson and John Johnson.
    She is survived by her children: Freddie (Rachel) Nabbie, Leroy (Cyprianna) Saunders, Patrice Hanna-Johnson (daughter-in-law), Evaneth Johnson (daughter-in-law); sisters: Doramae Seymour, Prescola Allen and Mavis Johnson; grandchildren: Sheyna, Sanchos, Sashake Nabbie, Schivano and Schrone Saunders, Eldeka, Kashara and Asia Johnson, Jomique and Javaughn Johnson; great grandchildren: Cortney Maycock, Sanchos Jr., Sherniyah, Sanai and Amir Nabbie, Lize Wallace, T’nala Brown, D’mari Saunders; great great grandchild: Kormello Maycock; nieces and nephews: Maria Garland, Velma Dickinson, Celestine Lewis, Zerline, Elva, Ruthmae, Bruce, Larry, Rodney, Alfred Brown, Alfred Fitzgerald, Dianne Stubbs, Dan Thurston, Wade Smith, Sterling, Raphath and Nelson Seymour, Michael Francis, Ricardo and Eureka Allen, Juanita and Kenwood Pratt: adopted children: Brad Dorsett, Donna Keisler, Rosetta Wells, numerous other relatives and friends: Damien Stubbs, Deon Stubbs, Crystal Smith, Michaela Francis, Keyshon Moss, Destiny Seymour, Charisma and Alston Strachan, Ravae’ Rolle, Rose Saunders, Nazmoon Seymour, Tony Barry, Tiffany Johnson, Edna Dorsett, Kenrea McKenzie, Sophie and Freddie, Ebony Bonaby, Tony and Paula Armbrister and the Fernandez Bay families, The Smith’s Bay family.
