FUNERAL SERVICE for the late MATRIARCH JOYCE ANN FAWKES Age 93 years of Dunmore Avenue, Chippingham who died on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 will be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at 10:30am at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, Howard Street, Chippingham. Officiating will be Reverend Father Neil G. Nairn. Interment will be made in the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
Joyce was predeceased by her Husband, Prince Albert Fawkes; Daughter: Sabrina Fawkes; Sisters: Irma Fernander, Rosalie Bennett and Sylvia Fernander; Brothers: Garth and Harold Junior Fernander.
Left to cherish her memories are her Children: Joanne “Penny” Gibson and Stephen Fawkes; Stepson: Maurice Fawkes Sr.; Daughter-in-law: Deborah Fawkes; Grandchildren: Shantell Indira and Deandra Fawkes, Maurice Fawkes Jr., Geovanna Gibson, Bronte Neely, Leuvasieur Gibson, Jerah Edwards-Gibson and Apryl Gibson; Great- Grandchildren: Rayshanno Davis, Trevon Smith J’Lhar and J’Elle Gibson, Leyanna Brown and Brianique Ingraham; Sisters: Elizabeth “Betty” Sweeting, Bernadine Brown and Trevor Edgecombe; Brother-in-law: William “Bob” Fox; Sisters-in- law: Thelma Fernander, Eulamae Ferguson, Joyce Newbold, Leona Thompson, and Patricia Knowles, and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention at this time.
Viewing will be held at Clarke’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, East West Highway on Friday, October 20th, from 10:00am to 4:30pm and on Saturday from 9:15am at the church until service time.
