    Funeral Service For David Pinder, 63 affectionately called “Big D” a resident of Charlotte Ridge will be held on Friday, December 1st, 2023, 11:00a.m. at Transfiguration Baptist Church, Market and Vesey Streets. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Stephen E. Thompson assisted by Rev. Colyn Thompson and Rev. Sherma Bowe. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Soldier Road.
    He was predeceased by his mother: Evelyn Pratt; his father: Abbacus Pinder; brother: Elgin Horton; sister: Joyce Bonaby; and niece: Valthea Bonaby: Left to cherish his memories is his loving and devoted wife: Karen Pinder; sister: Jenny (Gordon) Kemp; mother-in-law: Vernita Thompson; sisters-in-law: Tracy (Russell) Jones, Pamela (Darrel) Young (Minnesota) and Denise (Brian) Carmichael (Chicago.
