    John Glen Roker

    A Service of Thanksgiving for John Glen Roker, 59 of Forbes Street, formerly of Barbados Street, Golden Gates #2 will be held on Friday, December 15th, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Commonwealth Funeral Home, Independence Drive. Officiating will be Bishop Carrington Pinder assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Cremation will follow.
    John Glen touched the lives of many and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
    Fond and cherished memories will linger in the hearts of his sisters: Janet, Bernadette and Darnell Roker, Brenda (Edward) Watson, Rosemary Cooper, Clarice Forbes and Sonia (Daniel) Mclean of New Jersey; brothers: Christopher of Atlanta Georgia and Carlton Roker; nieces and nephews: Yvon (Wander) Deal, Monique Jones of Atlanta Georgia, Daron (Estelle) Major, Dorminic (Denise) Major, Dario (Shiva) Outten, Damond Roker of Memphis Tenn, Shorna (Xavier) Ferrier of Hollywood Florida, Anthony Steveson, Iyeasha (Tico) Williams, Jadia (Aaron) Morley, Kwame and Kofi Roker of Atlanta Georgia, Kealya Lightbourne, Katura Lightbourne- Wilchombe, Kristla, Michaela, Carla, Christal, Minnel and Minell Roker, McKell (George) Pinder, Shonell Brennen, Melissa Ingraham, Michael Jr, Carlton Jr., and Antonio Roker, Kristan Layne, and Jordan Yearde of New Jersey; grand nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; uncles: Albert and James (Daddy long leg)| Miller and Nehemiah Cooper; other relatives and friends: Sarah Thompson and children of the late Eric and Genesta Saunders, children of the late Everette and Iva Miller, children of the late Naomi Paul, The Barbados Street, Golden Gate #2 Families including, Antoine Robinson and Family, The Newton Family, Mr. Evans & Family, Mrs Miller & Family, Mr. Cunningham & Family, The McSweeney Family, Glen Saunders and Monique Ceasar, Dave and Frankie. Bishop Ross Davis and Father of Saint Gregory Church and other relatives and friends; special thanks are extended to: the Princess Margaret Hospital staff especially the staff of A & E Dept., the Medical Surgical East Ward, Dr Ramon James, Dr Cito Moore and PCA II L. Whitfield-Brown among others.
