    Funeral service for Retired Trained Clinical Nurse Miriam Vernetta Knowles, 83 of Aqua Street, Jubilee Gardens will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, 10:00a.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church. Officiating will be Father Andrew Toppin assisted by other ministers of the clergy. Interment will follow in Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
    Left to cherish her memories are her daughters: Alicia (Franklin-Nassau), Bridget (Keith-Florida) and Michelle (Clifton-Freeport); adopted son: Keith Moultrie (New Jersey); adopted daughter: Phillipa Borrows; loving & devoted sisters: Helen Stubbs (Ronald) and Joan Gibson (Michael); one loving brother: Kentley Martin; nieces: Peggy, Pauline, Laverne, Visna, Claudine, Vernette, Sherry. Deloris, Misrelate, Lenease, La Tanya, Lehisha, Sharon, Debbie, Cornell, Tanya. Desiree, La Donna, and Daphne; nephews: Philip, Carl, Gary, Paul, Kenneth, Eric, Duke, Linkie, Dwright, Van and Marvin, Timothy and Ross, Hermes and Logan special friends: Staff of PMH, Freeport Rand Memorial Hospital and Sister Viola Sweeting Butler, Nurses Idell Saunders, Debbie Sands, Enimae Pinder, Ramsey Woodside, & Clarice Ferguson; special thanks to: Father Andrew Toppin and Parishioners of St George Anglican Perish. Halifax Medical Center (Florida), Hon. Dr. Micheal Darville MP for Tall Pines and other relatives and friends.
    Viewing will be held in the Celestial Suite of Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Limited, Robinson & Soldier Roads on Friday from 10:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and again at the church on Saturday from 8:30 am. until service time.
