Funeral Service For Rupert Alvin Bethel, 76 affectionately called “Santana” “San Man” a resident of James Cistern, Eleuthera, Bahamas who died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 will be held at 11:00 am. on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at Wesley Methodist Church, James Cistern, Eleuthera. Minister Elmena Bethel assisted by Deacon Collin Moss and Monsignor John Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Public Cemetery, James Cistern, Eleuthera.
He is survived by his sons: Tavall, Alvin, Chris, Samuel Bethel; daughters: Ernestine Hilton, April Hilton, Natasha Mitchell, Lashanda, Shan, Pearl Bethel; son-in-law: Wayne Hilton; sisters: Audrey Bethel and Pearl Walks; step children: Lashouna Brown, Bernique Johnson, Rubyann Martin, Lamar Kemp, Bradley Brown Jr., and Garvanno Johnson; grandchildren: Theresa, Osborne, Felicia, Perez Hilton, Daeyn Johnson, Braerose Bevans, Omarion, Alan, London, Kamryn and Kaden Bethel Tanea Jr., Tania, Antwon, Asia, Rochelle, Naianna, Anslia, Bethel, Ocean, Royal Williams; in-laws: Gloria, Bernice Rolle, Julia Bethel, Roscoe Walks, Vernie and Ethel, Hilton and Elsie, Hardy; nephews and nieces: Spence and Henrietta, Edmund, Edney, Jeff and Avis, Kevin, Martin, Keith and Joe Bethel; grand nephews and nieces: Tammy and Wade Weinburger, Stacia and Roshad Smith, Horatio and Rushel Green, Harry Pinder, Adrian, Melissa, Wellington, Edmonton, Tavon, Daneka, Edney Jr., Akeem, Jeffrey Jr., Micah, Mykyle, Shaniqua, Scottish, Tamika, Valentino, Hensley, Sophie, Keithra, Shenika; great grand nephews and nieces: Wade Jr and Sarah Weinburger, Waden and Raven Weinburger, Eliana Green, Harry Pinder Jr.; great great grandchildren: Arlo & Wynter Weinburger; and a host of other relatives and friends.
