Funeral Service for MARIE ERNESTINE STRACHAN, 84 of Richmond Avenue, Blair Estates, will be held at 11:00 am. on Thursday 22nd February, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, West Hill Street. Officiating will be Fr. Junior Calixte, assisted by other members of the clergy. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband: Gerald Strachan and brother: Donald Roberts.
She is survived by her children: Darlene Curry, Paula Strachan-Reckley, Philip Strachan, Paul Strachan and Pamela Marie Strachan-Smith; Sister: Joan Pinder (Atlanta) and special sister Margaret Nelson (Miami); Grandchildren: Danielle and RiQashan Curry, Jonae Reckley, Nicole Strachan, Tregg and Traci Strachan and Alexys-Marie and Ashton Smith; Daughter-in-law: Vinincia Strachan; Sons-in-law: John Reckley and Marvin Smith; Sisters-in-law: Exrella Roberts, Janet Newlands (Andrew), Brenda Jagnandon and Meritta Strachan; Brothers-in-law: Godfrey Strachan, Everett Strachan (Jeannie), Terrance Strachan (Rhonda) and Kendal Strachan (Estelle); Nieces: Charmaine Dawson (Darwin), Charnac Leoncé (Emery), Dionne Heath (Tim).
