Funeral Service For Mavis Elizabeth Miller, 93 née Braynen affectionately called “Goddie”of #114 Graham Drive, Yellow Elder Gardens will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, 11:00am at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, West Street North. Officiating will be Fr. Glen Nixon. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery, Tyler Street.
Left to cherish her memories are son: Valentine Maura; daughter- in-law: Beverley Maura; grandchildren: Kelly (Bishop Kirkwood Murphy), Enero, Ene, Ean (Siobhan Maura), Shazzaro, Valyn and Tanna; great grandchildren: Re-sha, Reshia, Richelle, Rhea Murphy, Jalea, Jene, Jazlyn, Latoia (Teron Rolle) Nzingha, Yaa Asantewaa, Akeelah and Diallo Maura; great great grandchildren: Terae Rolle; brothers: Michael (Urma Braynen), Anthony (Rosemarie Braynen) and Alaasis, Chann (Donica Hall); sisters: Babrbara King and June Brown Smith (Rueben Smith); nieces/ nephews: Susan King. Tiffany (Adrian Edgecombe), Tristan, Jason-Michael, Lyndsay (Travaldo Farrington) and Ashley Braynen; Rochelle, Raquel, Jamal and Amanda Smith, Dechan, Sade and Sasha Hall; numerous other loved relatives, appreciated friends. The body will repose in the Blessed Redeemer Chapel at Ferguson’s Funeral Directors, 7th Terrace Collins Avenue on Friday from 12:00noon- 5:00pm and at the Church on Saturday from 10:00am until service time.
