Death notice for Minister Hently Thurston, 65 of Willow Tree Street, Pinewood Gardens and formerly of Thurston Hill, Cat Island passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.
He is survived by his wife: Elder Theresa Thurston; adopted daughter: Patricia Ambrister; adopted grandchildren: Nevaeh Angel Deveaux, Recarno Nixen, Carnesha Nixen; sisters: Deaconess Geneva Turnquest, Thelma ‘Palma’ Williams and Ellamae Thurston; adopted sisters: Sheryl Turner: adopted brothers: Shawn Roker, Bradley Fox; brothers: Reverend Orman, Bishop Luther, John, Deacon Nehemiah, William Thurston; brothers-in-law: Tyrone Williams Bertram Turnquest, James “Jimmy” (Louise) Knowles, Joseph “Joey” (Nicole) Knowles; sisters-in-law: Deaconess Patricia, Barbara, Pastor Irena and Virginia Thurston, Belinda Morley, Patricia Knowles, Vernita Rahming, Barbara Knowles, Victoria Fox: aunts: Bettymae Poitier, Joanna and Lillian McKenzie and Mathilda Cartwright; uncles: Frank and Ellie Cartwright: other relatives and friends: too numerous to mention.
