He is survived by his wife, Jane Susan Evans; his children. Tiffani Evans Derek Roderick, Jason Evans, Laura Flores Wyatt Flores, and Christopher Evans Yaneli Evans; and his grandchildren, Brooke Johnson, Tyler Roderick, William Evans, Lux Evans, Hunter Flores, Mason Flores. Cooper Flores, Michael Solis and Mia Evans. He is also survived by his brother. Samuel Evans III. and his sister. Paula Brown (Ronnie), along with many nieces and nephews. Garland was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel William Evans and Roberta Evans, and his brother, Keith Dillard Evans. Garland was a devoted father and accomplished entrepreneur who passed away, leaving a legacy of cherished memories and a profound impact on his family and community. His passion for boating, fishing, and golf brought joy to his life and those around him as he generously shared these experiences with friends and family. Together, they created lasting memories, especially during weekends spent cruising the picturesque Exuma Cays, where laughter and love thrived. Throughout his life. Garland’s entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to contribute significantly to the Bahamas by successfully establishing new businesses. He will be remembered as a loving father to his four children, who carry on the values and experiences he instilled in them.
