He is survived by his wife: Michelle Cassandra Simmons; daughters: Shavonne Simmons, LaShandra Simmons: sons: Marvin Simmons, Travis Simmons, Cory Simmons, Devardo Simmons, Terrell Simmons, Mattheus Simmons and Michael Simmons: adopted sons: Owen T. Rolle and Jamaal Saunders; grandchildren: Asia, Dwayne, Anyla, Anwar. Kyah, Mariela, Zakiya, Iyah’eden and O’N; sisters: Madeline Simmons, Lulalean Hall, Loretta Miller, Polleymae Miller, Magery Smith, Senora Gilbert, Lerlean Sturrup, Madiemae Simmons and Marilyn Fowler; brothers: Ednal Miller, Dr. Horizal A. Simmons, Rev. Daniel O. Simmons, Berkley and Pedro Simmons; in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
