He is survived by his son: Tavares Smith; grandson: Travis Smith; sisters: Rosemarie Stanislaus, Donna Green (Courtney), Marcia Stanislaus Delancy Sweeting (Allington), Laureen Malone (Scott Richard) and Barbara Rahming; brother: James Poitier; uncle: John Moxey (Debra); Aunt: Eleanor Mitchell; nieces and nephews including: Latoya Watson, Sophia Stanislaus, Donovan McGregor (Latoya), Vanessa and Stafford Jr. Higgs., Giovanni Sr. and Codi Roberts, Savannah Stanislaus, Allison Stanislaus, Charlisa, Charity and Charles Jr. (Christina) Delancy, Richea Malone-Aranha (Julian), Leading Seaman Richard Malone Jr. (Tishka), Rachel Malone, Brian and Brandon Roberts, Waldon Russell (Nancy), Shemeka Archer-Minjay and Tomeko Stanislaus, Alexandria, And-reneka and Greann Stanislaus, Tomeko and Trevor Stanislaus, Eairka Pinder, numerous grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
