
Death notice for Joy Mckrow who left us peacefully on May 20th, 2025, at the age of 74 in Canada.
Born in Toronto Ontario, Joy considered Nassau her second home, where she spent many years working at The Royal Bank of Canada. Joy spent her career as a dedicated executive at the Royal Bank of Canada, where she was known for her intelligence, leadership, and unwavering work ethic.
Joy found her greatest love in spending time with her grandchildren, travelling frequently to The Bahamas to be with them. An avid reader and nature enthusiast, Joy treasured her walks with friends and their dogs. Her deep love for animals was a defining part of who she was especially her beloved cats, Oreo and Mitty.
Survived by, her former husband, lifelong friend, and the father of her children, William Wong; her son, Jeremy Wong and his sons Joshua and Gabriel; her daughter, Kristina Stergiou; her son-in-law, Jim and their children, Destiny, Alexia and Hercules; her step-daughter, Lauren Wong and her son, Matteo; whom Joy cherished as her own.
She leaves behind a host of Bahamian relatives and friends, too numerous to mention.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Beverly and Evelyn Madden.
Joys kindness, humor and deep compassion touched everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and cherished memories.
