He is survived by his wife: Tonya Sturrup-Gay; sons: Norman Demetrius Jr. and Tarick James Gay; brothers: Lloyd George Gay and Samuel Warren Gay; aunts: Lydia Nairn-Curtis, Mary Dian Nairn; aunt-in-law: Pauline Nairn; sister-in-law: Josephine Gay; numerous nephews and nieces, and a host of other relatives, colleagues and friends.
