He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Smith; children: Harold Smith Jr, Julietta and Denzel Smith Sr.; sisters: Viola & Evelyn Smith, Virginia Rolle; adopted brother: Edmond and Joan McCartney; grandchildren: Derek Burrow III, Rylee, Kawaii and Julia Stuart, Denzel Jr. and Jamarii Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
