He is survived by his wife: Lorna Shearer; mother: Lottie Major Davis; children: Lawson Jr., Lakeem Sr., Lorenz, Laquille, Lateisha and Lakiyah Shearer; brothers: Hugh, Kenworth Shearer (Nikia) and Floyd Shearer, Nark Miller, Calsey Smith; sister: Nadia Butler; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
