She is survived by her son: Ernest Jefferson Edgecombe; adopted daughter: Monalisa Williams; sisters: Dorothea Charlow, Vivienne Huggins, Cynthia Sturrup, Judith Huyler, Carmen Sawyer and Gaynelle Wood; brothers: Garth and Clyde Sawyer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
