Death notice for Netlen Strachan, 84 of Kim’s Crescent, off Baillou Road and formerly of Bennett’s Harbour, Strachan Hill, Cat Island, died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Thursday, February 26th, 2026.

She is survived by two (2) Sons: Jimmy and Patrick Strachan; One (1) Daughter: Donna Knowles; Four (4) Sisters: Shirley, Idell and Thelma Strachan and Kernetta Smith of Atlanta, Georgia; Six (6) Grandchildren: Perry Jr. and Valeska Saunders, Micquella Rolle, Fanklyn Pratt, Dashante Ferguson and Jamaal Rolle; Four (4) Great-grandchildren: Taijanae Bowleg, Lyniah and Lynhurst Johnson and Perry Saunders Jr.; Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
