Death notice for Garnet Raymond Bethel, 77 a resident of Fire Trail Road, New Providence, Bahamas and formerly of Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Sunday, May 17th, 2026.
He is survived by his children: Adrian and Alfred Strachan, Rochelle Fowler, Sharon Strachan, Elizabeth Cartwright, Raquel, Derek, Marvin, Garnet Jr., Keith and Kevin Bethel; grandchildren: Anthonique, Alfred Jr., Zahara Strachan, Ryan, Rondell & Rashawn Browne, Rashad Curry, Brianne & Eric Fowler Jr, Dereck Jr. Dereka, Deremie & Derecio Bethel, Marvenisha & Mya Bethel, Demetrius Dominic & Daneisha Woodside, Omari Cartwright, Keiarj Strachan, Keiarah Denor (Antonio), Iesha Milfrid {Junior}, Nolan Thompson, Garnel, Raymond & Janet Bethel, Keith Bethel Jr. Charity, Kevin Jr., Kadrynique, Keajanae, Krashauntae Bethel; great grandchildren: Dominonique Woodside, Rishea Curry, Aryanna Denor, Amari & Kyam Milfrid, Haley Sanai & Amir Bethel, Nyriah Matador, Shilo & Zion Burrows; sibling: Elizabeth “Wealthy’ Thompson, Edward Jr., Donald and Preston Bethel, Leanna Bain, Sheena Duncombe, Jennifer Williams, Denise Adderley, Marion Bethel, Cornell Ingraham and Sharmaine Cornish and a host of other relatives and friends.
