She is survived by her husband: George; one son: Dharan; three grandchildren: Imogen, Benjamin & Saskia and a host of relatives and friends.
Winifred taught at the Black Point school in Exuma, Bahamas from 1983 through to 1985 before moving to Harbour Island All Age School from 1985 to 2000
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
