He was predeceased by his father: Hanfred Cartwright; mother: Grace Cartwright.
Left to cherish the memories of this giant of a man are his devoted wife: Cheryl Knowles-Cartwright; sons: Burdette Cartwright and Najee Stubbs; daughters: Adesha Cartwright and Ashanti Young; adopted daughters: Ruby Hield and Kemyah Solomon; father-in-law: Christopher Knowles; step father-in-law: Felix Bowleg; adopted father: Eric Hepburn; brothers: James and Vaughan Cartwright; sisters: Ceceilia Ewing, Muriel Dean, Wally Hanna, Rosemarie Grant and Beryl Knowles; other relatives and friends: Cleveland Palacious, Kevin Solomon, Sherral Cooper, Margo Chipman, Kimberly Hield, Zsia Poitier, Pacassia, Paronn, Chrishawn, and Pachansia Knowles, and Krishae Gilbert; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
