Funeral announcement for Ms. Clarane Griffin, 58 A resident of #12 Charles Saunders Highway, and formerly of Love Sound, Andros, died at the Princess Margret Hospital on Monday June 29th 2026. Service will be held at Faith Temple Ministries International, Prince Charles Drive on Saturday July 18th 2026 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Carlos Angelo Thompson. Interment will follow at Old Trail Cemetery.
Clarane was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Sarah Miller Griffin and George Griffin Sr., and her son, Anton Jerome Thompson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children: Antionette Thompson, Cassandra Thompson, and Ramond Kargail.
Her legacy continues through her five beloved grandchildren: De’Shawn Culmer, De’Yon Culmer, Aryelle Thompson, Keion Thompson, and Sahir Joseph.
She is also survived by her sisters: Carnita Smith, Desilee Griffin, and Melanie Griffin; her brothers: George Griffin Jr. and Douglas Griffin; sisters-in-law: Olivia Griffin and Joyann Griffin.
She leaves behind a host of nieces: Keishela Smith, Valdoressa Griffin, Santece Griffin, Sariyah Griffin, Jaleesa Griffin, Tashar Griffin, Lashanda Griffin, and Genesis Griffin; nephews: Stephon Smith, Duran Williams, Jameil Griffin, and Douglas Griffin Jr.; grandnieces: D’Janae Miller and Stelia Smith; and grandnephews: Jatarrio Adderley and Henson Miller III. She will also be lovingly remembered by other relatives and friend.
