    MATRIARCH DEACONESS MINERVA THOMPSON STUBBS

    Funeral service for MATRIARCH DEACONESS MINERVA THOMPSON STUBBS, 83 of Stapeldon Gardens and formerly of Mangrove Cay, Andros, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 17th February, 2024 at Zion Yamacraw Baptist Church, Yamacraw Hill Road. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Glendon E. Rolle, assisted by ministers of the gospel. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, J.F.K and Gladstone Road.
    Minerva leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. She will always remain in the hearts of her children (and their spouse): Sons: Cecil Jr. (Erica), Keith (Michelle), Kevin (Inspector 169 Shanita Stubbs RBPF), Gregory Stubbs; Daughters: Shirlene King, Sarahmae Rolle, Raquel Stubbs (Kendall) Deleveaux; Grandchildren: Jason (Inga) King, Chenovia (Ramon) Rolle, Cindira King, Shaquille (Lakera) King, Norrissa (Rapheal) Morris, Allistare, Aljay, Kevinique, Ciera, Cienna, Keishell, Keleah, Keith Jr. (Liana) Stubbs, Kai Deleveaux, Drameco Bridgewater, Jameka (Carsean) Clarke, Keisha (Johnathon) Bone, Samuel (Nisha) Mackey, Lynden Moncur, Gardina Bain, Jada and Jennika Ferguson; Great-Grandchildren: Deshawn Smith, Ranai Morris, Shiloh, Kaitlyn, Sa’Maya and Samuel Mackey Jr., Journi Bone, Harmony, Sachi and Kaije King, Amora Dean, Barry Bain, Jaxon Bootle, Jamiah Ferguson, Drameko and Dereck Bridgewater, Kaiden and Jaiden Moncur, Cartyr and Jordyn Clarke, Klia and Caven Longsworth; Nieces: Sandra Strachan and Gaye Thompson; Nephews: Kenroy and Archelous Jr. Thompson; Grand Niece: Dianna Strachan; Grand Nephews: Clement and Micheal Strachan: Sister-in-law: Arimentha Stubbs, Brother-in-law: Neville Stubbs who will forever cherish her memory.     Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians & Crematorium, #44a Nassau Street on Friday 16th February 2024 from 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday, 17th February, 2024 from 10:00 am. until service time.
