    Funeral service for Cecil George Brown, 65 affectionately called “Perry”
    of Haynes Oval and formerly of St. Catherine, Jamaica who died on Friday. February 2, 2024 will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, 11:00am at Evangelistic Pentecostal Church, AlocasĂ­a Road, Garden Hills No.2. Officiating will be Prophet Uriah A. Davidson assisted by other ministers. Interment will follow in Old Trail Cemetery, Old Trail Road.
    He is survived by his sons: Scottie Dennis Desmond Brown; (special mention Cindy Davidson); daughters-in-law: Kimberly Kendra Sharelle Brown (special mention Cheryl); grandchildren: Scottie Jr., Jemiyah, Jermoni, Seth, Grace, Samiya and Simon Brown, Amur Gray and KJ Wallace; great grandchildren: Khadyn & Kyh’liyah Wallace; brothers: Washington Gordon, Samuel Strachan, Desmond, Dennis, Clive, Ralph, Norval, Everton and Neville Brown; sisters: Velma Joseph, Edna Brown, Salva Gordon, Rebecca Strachan; adopted daughter: Sharell McPhee; uncles: Alexander Harris & Earnest Harris, Edward & Danny Brown; aunts: Elsa, Dorothy & Icilda Brown; nephews: Ian Nesbeth, Jimico, Keino and Temond Young, Ricardo Brown, Colin, Alexis, Marco Brown, Donte” Forde, Dwayne Newman Jr., Dino Adamson Jr. (nephew-in-law Trevor Simmons); grandnephews: Ian Nesbeth Jr., Keino Young Jr., Ricardo Brown Jr., Caleb Brown, Colin Alexis Jr., Tyden Brown, Treven Simmons, Renardo McKenzie, Dawn Rolle.     Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Avenue and Talbot Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00pm and on Saturday at the Church from 10:00am to service time.
