    Gloria Butler

    Funeral Service For Gloria Butler, 95 affectionately called “Grammy,” and better known as “Ms. Glo” a resident of Antigua Street, Elizabeth Estates, New Providence, Bahamas and formerly of Watlins, San Salvador, Bahamas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at the Kemp Road Ministries, Kemp Road, New Providence, Bahamas. Officiating will be Dr. Ivan Ford Butler. Interment will follow in the Old Trail Cemetery, Abundant Life Road.
    Her memories will live on forever in the hearts of her children: Rev. Betty Williams, Francina Anderson, Katie Horton, Rev. Vernice Miller, Chief Superintendent of Police (R.B.P.F), Walter Henderson and Elaine Smith (Jerome); brother: Ulric Butler; grandchildren: Denika Culmer, Teoken Brown, Turkesa Grant, Omario Forbes, Shaketra (Will) Johnson, Tamesha Smith, Tyler Moss, Whitney & Police Constable 4290 Walter Henderson Jr. (Hope), Torea Butler, Sherman, Shaquielle, Shaquelle Smith and Edward McPhee; great grandchildren: Rianika & Raquel Culmer, Gabrielle Morgan, Katelyn, Layla & Christopher Johnson, Ayden Smith, Maria, Omario Jr., Angel, Jahmari, Omar & Shiloh Forbes, Devin & Deon Henderson, Destin, Vaughn, Valentino Jr., Vernon Rolle and Emiliah McPhee; nieces: Joan Smith, Virginia Major, Alma Evans, Ingrid Levarity, Opal & Elmer Butler; nephews: Rudy & Rev. Patrick Levarity, Salathiel & Alpheage Butler; eight grandnephews, six grandnieces, five great-great grandnieces and two great-great grandnephews; other relatives & friends of the family including: Pastor Emeritus Ivan Ford Sr., Dr. Ivan Ford Jr. (Joanne), Peter, Emmanuel, Elsworth, Apostle Paul, Rev. Harrison, General Overseer Apostle David Butler & their families, Ernestine Patnett & family, Deninez Moss, Dr. Mandi Pedican, Nancy & Rosie Carabello, Danny, Deon & Retired Superintendents of Police (R.B.PF) Randy Lightfoot, Floyd Bastian & Robert Lloyd, Dudley & Dianna Smith, Virginia Capron & their families, Bishop Simeon Outten & wife, Campus Pastor Renaldo Sweeting.     Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Limited, Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads on Friday, March 1st, 2024 from 12:00noon to 5:00pm and at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until service time.
