
Funeral Service for Samuel Franklyn Turner (commonly known as Franklyn Samuel Turner) of he Forrest, Exuma and formerly of Palm Avenue, South Beach Estates, New Providence, The Bahamas will be held at Our Lady’s of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, Deveaux and Young Streets on Saturday, 9th March, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Father Reginald Demeritte assisted by Father Johathan Duka. Interment will follow in The Eastern Cemetery, Dowdeswell and East Bay Streets.
Franklyn was predeceased by his parents: George Turner and Moreina Capron-Turner; siblings: George Turner II, Paul Ferguson, Samuel Ferguson, Louise Dean, Sybil Newbold and Hazel Johnson; wife: Maxine Turner, children: Wendy Turner and Jeffrey Turner; grandson: Tharaan Delancy.
Left to cherish fond and everlasting memories of the life and time spent on this earth with Franklyn are his daughters: Theresa Turner- McKenzie (Benjamin Tyrone), Cindy Ann Turner-Outten, Vernita M.
