Memorial Notice for Derek Demeco Gardiner, 36 affectionately called “Meeks” of Delaport, West Bay Street, will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 am. at Little Jerusalem Apostolic Ministries, West Bay Street. Officiating will be Pastor Claudell Farrington, assisted Pastor Janice Lewis and other Ministers of the Gospel.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter: Demya Gardiner, his mother: Debra Bain (Samuel Bain), his father: Derek Gardiner (Kikie Gardiner), his grandparents: Carl and Sheron Cox and Beryl Kerr, his sisters: Timika Bain (Lamont Bain), Sanesha and Sh’nea Bain and Keiasha Poitier (Stanley), Aleaha and Savannah Burrows, his brothers: Denrick Gardiner, Samar and Samuel Bain Jr. and Shaquille Williams, his nephews: Mario, Davantae and Denrick Jr., Shaquille Jr. and Stamari, and his nieces: Khamya, McCaia and T’Asia. He is also survived by his aunts: Prescola Gardiner, Coramae Paul (Kelcie), Ingrid Russell (Cecil), Hollis Cox, Marcia Mackey, Carlina Cox, Samantha and Simona Kerr, Linda, Marsha, Ann, Elsie, Lisa and Elaine and Angela Stubbs (Keith), Janet Timothee and Sophia Rolle; his uncles: Phillip Kemp (Furline), Rudolph Kerr Jr. (Bernadette), Jerome Gardiner, Sebastian and Scott Kerr and Edward Collie Jr. Numerous cousins as well as his extended family in Delaporte, the Sandal’s crew, the C. C. Sweeting Class of 2004 and the members of Little Jerusalem Apostolic Church.
