Death notice for Captain Laurin Llewelyn Knowles, 87 a resident of Mangrove Bush, Long Island, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
He is survived by his wife: Lillith “Sue” Knowles; six sons: Mark, Neal, Ian, David, Don, and Stefan; two daughters: Colleen McKinney and Crystal Cartwright; grandchildren: Mara Treco, Marco, Meko, Travis, Todd, Garrett, Cadisha, Gayland, and Garth Knowles, Mateo Knowles, Shannen Chea, Dante and Harrison Knowles, K’Ashe and Kanye McKinney, Dayle, Don Jr., Dawson, Dakota, Drake Knowles, Alexia, Celine, Colin Jr., and Crysto Cartwright, Whitney, Stefanie and Stefan J. Knowles, Scott Metcalf, Adam McKinney, and Lacey and Kahden Huyler; brothers: Lindy, Wesley, and Earl Knowles; sisters: Cora Knowles and Louise Cartwright; sons-in-law: Kevin McKinney and Colin Cartwright; daughters-in-law: Laurie, Jeanette, Phelina, and Dian Knowles; aunts: Isabell Knowles and Alma Knowles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
