Survived by his sisters Charlyne Acree (Robert) and Deborah Finger of Florida and other family members. Predeceased by his parents Kingsbury and Audrey Russell, brothers Gregory and Andrew Russell, brother-in-law John Finger, and sister-in-law Nora Du Plessis.
A humble and caring man, Michael was known for his unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and community. Michael was a dedicated member of the Rotary Club of the Bahamas, where he made significant contributions to the community. As Chair of the “Road to Peace” project, he worked tirelessly to promote peace, unity, and positive change, leaving a lasting impact on those who were fortunate enough to work alongside him.

In addition to his professional accomplishments. Michael was an avid lover of darts. His passion for the sport led him to travel to several countries, where he not only competed but also supported his fellow teammates with enthusiasm and dedication.
Though Michael may no longer be with us, his legacy of kindness, humility, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a family and community who will forever treasure his memory.
