Death notice for Canon Lamuel Wellington Been, 86 of St. John’s & Dominica Streets, Golden Gates #2, New Providence, Bahamas and formerly of Salt Cay, Turks & Caicos Islands died on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Princess Margaret Hospital.
He is survived by his sons: Derek, David, Fr. Bernard & Brian Been; daughters: Deborah Greene, Betty Ann Been & Michelle Been-Williams; daughters-in-law: Shonia Thomas-Been, Sandra Been, Jo-ann Been and Kathrina Missick-Been; son-in-law: Vernon Williams; grandchildren: Chelsea, Alexander, Andrew; great-grandchildren: Nyobi and Abinee and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are being finalized and will be announced at a later date.
