    Graveside Service For Leon Johnson, 78 a resident of Harbour Island, Eleuthera, The Bahamas will be held at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Harbour Island, Eleuthera, The Bahamas on Saturday, 30th September, 2023 at 12:00 noon. Officiating will be Bishop Anthony Dean (Lighthouse Church of God) assisted by other ministers of the Gospel. CREMATION WAS HELD
    He is predeceased by his wife of fifty-six years; Eleanor Johnson nĂ©e McDonald; parents: Percival “Pick” and Iva Johnson; sister. Patricia “Penny” Cleare; brothers: Amold, Stanley, Eugene, Roger and Raleigh.
    Left to cherish his memories are his children: Lavern Richards (Dominic) Richards, Garnet Johnson, Glenda (Burlington) Moss, Dean (Nadia) Johnson, Chantel (Orintheo) Thompson, Stephanie Johnson and Andrew Sawyer grandchildren: Christin, Chante and Christophe Thompson, Danielle, Gabriella and Jonathan Richards, Breanna and Brendyn Moss and Fatima Johnson, Shannon Neely and Ryan Johnson; brothers: Percival “Summer” Johnson and Family, Pastor Jeffery (Pastor Kathy) Johnson and Family. Alquin “Alkie” Johnson and Family, Randolph (Christine) Johnson and Family; sisters: Madlyn Johnson and Family, Anita Curry and Family, Zelma Couser and Family, Frances (Emest) Lewis and Family the extended Johnson and Roberts families of Harbour Island; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends including: Humphrey Percentie Jr., Dr. Lee Percentie, Pauline Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Roberts, Trainor Mather and Family. The Blessed Sacrement Catholic Church Family, Lighthouse Church of God especially Bishop Anthony Dean and Family. Bishop Samuel Higgs and Family, the Colebrooke Street (Backroad) Family, Davis Family, Bethel and Young Families, Mr. Arlington Moss and Family, Marlin and Judith Roker and Family, the Bottom Harbour and PLP dock crew, the staff at the Harbour Island clinic, the entire Harbour Island community, and the staff of St. Ambrose Funeral Home.
