A Mass of Thanksgiving for Carlin “Collins” Leon Darville, 93 will be held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church on Saturday September 30th at 10am. Officiating will be Archdeacon James Palacious. Internment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Soldier Road.
Carlin “Collins Woodrow Leon Darville was predeceased by his parents Ashland and Maggie Darville, and his siblings, Willard Rosbee Darville; Mildred Edith Adderley-Grant; Gwendolyn Louise Burrows- McKinney; Oswald Leon Darville; Bethsheba Georgianna “Sheva” Turnquest; Lenora Majorie Losito-Tekosky; Mariam Idalee Knowles; and Rodman Horsley Darville.
He is survived by, Four sons: Collins Ashland Jr. (Krishna) Darville; Earl (Melanise), Datus Sr. (Gayle) Farrington, and Darius Sr. Hanna-Farrington and six daughters: Gloria, Colette, Diane, and Donna Darville; Monique Farrington; and Earlene Cartwright. Thirty-seven grandchildren: Collins Ashland III, Eric, and Collicia Darville; Wendell, Jermaine, and Veronia Knowles, Samantha and Shane Sanders, Jamaal, Jethro, Jordon, Kihesha Darville; and Antonio, Niki, and Olivia Oliver; Chetina Carmacho, Damian Miller; Braddira Farrington; Aaron and Chantavia Wilson; Destine Jones; Shyren and Shynead Cartwright; Lyric, Daija, Datus Jr., Aaliden, Anthony, Darius Jr., Daria, Darnell, Darrielle, Drnardia, Darvaria, Darlia, Darvia, and King Farrington; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren: Xavier, Joshua, Kemeren, Justin, Brianna, Beyonce, and Brenaye Knowles; Anthony Stubbs III; Harmony Sanders; Kerimiah, Jaidyn, Jnyle, Jaci, Ja’Kari, and Jessiah Darville; Aaliyah, Antonia, Anthonique, Abigail, Adrienne, and Mateo Oliver; Kassidy and Kiara Kemp; and Ramell Charite Jr.; Deionte Whitfield; Serenity Wilson; Da”Shante Farrington; and Cataleya Deveaux.
