Mr. Sands is survived by his children: Lavon Sands II, Lanisha Sands and Lavonia Sands; his brothers: Damian Sands, Rico Sands and Ahmael Henfield; sisters: Michaela Sands, Marva Curtis, Natasha Lisa Ferguson, Genea Wiburn; grandchildren: Lavon Sands III, LaQwon Sands, Alvanae Stubbs and Braelyn Nottage and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention at this time.
