    FUNERAL SERVICE for Michael Maxwell Cartwright, MBE, 90 affectionately called “Early Bird” will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Cathedral, George Street. Officiating will be The Very Rev. Harry Bain assisted by The Very Rev. Dean Patrick Adderley (Retired), Rev. Angela Palacious and Rev. Deacon John Pinder. Interment will follow in the St. Anne’s Church Cemetery, East Bay Street.

    He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years: Verona; daughters: Karen (Henderson) Burrows and Grace-Ann (Scott) Treco; sons: Godfrey (Linda) and George (Denise) Cartwright; sister: Katherine (Thomas) Treco; brother: Thalburg “TC” (Eva) Cartwright; sister-in-law: Georgia Wells; grandchildren: Krista (Stefan) Burrows and Claudius (Kimberley) Burrows, Aprylle Cartwright-Miller, Godfrey A. M. Cartwright, Andre Albury, Jonathan (Tanya), Jeremy and Jessica Cartwright and Scott Treco; great-grandchildren: Lacey and Kahden Burrows, Stefanie and Stefan J. L.     Relatives and Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Friday, October, 27th 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
