Death notice for Irene Thelma Major, 96 of Darling Subdivision and Arundel Street, New Providence, Bahamas and formerly of Palmetto Point, Eleuthera, Bahamas died at the Princess Margaret Hospital of Thursday, July 30, 2026.
She is survived by her daughters: Shirley Bachtis, Susan and Pam Major; son: Paul “Dougie”
Major (Jan); sister: Doris Hanna; twelve grandchildren, twenty
five great-grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren and numerous other relatives
and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, 11:00am at Rhodes Memorial Methodist Church, Montrose Avenue, New Providence, Bahamas.
