Death notice for Anthony Henderson Key, 88 of Nassau, Bahamas, passed away peacefully at Doctors Hospital, Collins Avenue, Nassau on Monday, August 24, 2026.

He was predeceased by his father, Shepherd L. Key; his brother, Rudolph “Rudy” Key Sr.; and his nephew, Rudy Key Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virpi Hartikainen-Key; sister-in-law, Georgette Key; his nephew, Herbert Key and his wife, Theresa; niece, Jacqueline Nygren and her husband, Blair Nygren; great-nieces, Chantal Nygren Marmes and Leigh Nygren.
He is also survived by Justin Blanc, the caretaker at his building numerous relatives and dear friends in Nassau, Finland and abroad.
Tony, affectionately known as “Spoat” to family and friends, will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
Funeral arrangements and details of a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
