Death notice for Mother Helen Louise thurston, 81 of Bennett’s Harbour, Cat Island, died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Sunday, August 30th, 2026.

She is survived by six (6) Sons (& their spouses): Bishop Rhodrick (Althia) Brown, Pastor Markham (Zilpha) Thurston, Evangelist Alvin (Melony) Thurston, Dorvin (Arijester) Thurston, Asquith (Philicia) Thurston and Shawn (Floydena) Thurston; three (3) Daughters (& their spouses): Phillesa (Rev. Kermit) Rolle, Shantel (Mario) McKay and Garno Thurston; two (2) Sisters: Elmeta Rolle and Theora Duncombe; numerous grandchildren, great-great grand children nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
