He is survived by his wife: Prendencer Thurston; daughter: Jameka Thurston; 2 grandchildren: Sariah Miller, Khalil Miller; brothers: David Thurston, Paul Thurston, Author Thurston; sisters: Blanche Basden, Ena Rolle, Dale Dean; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
