    Funeral Service for Mr. Calvin George Cooper Jr. of Clearwater Cove, Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas and formerly of Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas will be held on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023, 11:00a.m. at New Life Christian Worship Center, Coral Road and Park Royal Drive, Freeport, Grand Bahama. Officiating will be Bishop Simeon Outten, Senior Pastor at New Life Worship Center. Cremation will follow.
    He was predeceased by his parents: Calvin G. Cooper, Sr. and G. E. Patricia Cooper (née Powell), and his youngest brother: John Francis Cooper.
    Left to cherish his fond and precious memories are his loving and devoted his wife: Cindy Haase-Cooper, son: Valentino D. Cooper; grandsons: Justin Cooper and Tristan Laing; siblings: Gwynneth Jo-Ann Cooper, Marcia Winder, David Cooper, Lisa Codella, and Meredith Cooper; brothers-in-law: M. Terrence Winder and Clifford Armstrong; sisters-in-law: Sally Armstrong and Sarah Montes; nieces: Randi Winder and Marlena Leonard; nephews: Mark Winder II and Nathan Cooper; grandniece and nephew: Gabriella Winder and Isaac Knowles; aunts: Joan Higgs, Edith Powell, Roslyn Cooper, Florence Deveaux, Christine Adderley and Zeta Cooper, uncles: Henry Cooper and Ivan Deveaux; step-children: Maghan and Cardell Butler, Zachary and Patti Davis, Ty Haase; cousins: Linda Ingraham-Symonette, Kirk Ingraham, Kathy and Kelvin Leach, Robert and Zoe Powell, Craig Powell, Borden and Sonia Higgs, Lloyd and Shenell Higgs, Brachelle and Shanard Neely, Burleigh and Indiana Cooper, Debbie Cooper, Cynthia Cooper, Fr. David Cooper, Wanda Farquharson, Deacon Stephen Cooper, Rosemary Smith, Rachalle Ferguson, Greer and Sean Bain, Jonathan Symonette, Jason and Vanessa Leach, Todd Isaacs, Tracey Cash, Margaret Symonette, Arthurlue Rahming, Yvonne Pearson, Rev. Bobbie Knowles, Arthur Edwards, Editha Whitney, Albert Whitney, Brendalee and Richard Rae, and Lesley Osazuwa; cherished friends and family: Brenda Thompson, Althia Laing, Glyine and Rose Delancy and family, Lance Darville, Shelly Perez, Farah Flowers, Cruz Aleveares-Johnson, Evelyn Winder and family; his American Airlines family; special thanks: Senior Pastor Bishop Simeon Outten, Campus Pastor Renardo Sweeting, the Men’s Ministry and the entire Church family of New Life Worship Center whose faithful visits were a spiritual blessing to Calvin and the medical teams at The Rand Memorial Hospital.
    Viewing will be held at the New Life Christian Worship Center, Coral Road and Park Royal Drive Freeport, Grand Bahama on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
