Semi Military Funeral Service For Retired Sgt. of the Bahamas Department of Corrections Athelston Eric Grazette, 78 of #58 Kildeer Drive, Monestary Park and formerly of Barbados, will be held on Friday, December 15th, 2023, 10:00am at Holy Spirit Anglican Church #18 Howard Street, Chippingham. Officiating will be Rev’d Fr. Neil G. Nairn, Rector Holy Spirit Anglican Church & Rev. Dr. William Thompson (Chaplin of The Bahamas Department of Corrections) assisted by other ministers of the clergy. Cremation will follow.
He survived by his wife: Ruthiemae Grazette; sons: Sean and Wayne Grazette, Kenneth Alex, Norman and Gilbert Jr.; daughters: Deborah Knowles and Kyla Ferguson; brother: Adolphus Grazette (UK); granddaughters: Annlynn, Kenya, Kalyani, Carlissa, Beroca and Davinya Grazette; grandsons: Kenneth, Alex, Norman Jr.; daughters-in-law: Beaundra Grazette and Veranda Darrell; great grandchildren: Angelica, Darnley, Kiara Chelsea, Shaheed, Sahara; sisters- in-law: Debbie, Gloria, Kathleen Leacock, Marie Grazette; nieces & nephews: Dr. Shirley Hosford, Jeanther, Edmund, Beverley, Kay, Marvo, Paulette, Andrea, Karen, Sandra, Vanessa, Denise, Dale; great grandnieces & nephews: Mandy, Ameera, Kim, Abraham, Natalia, Kimberley, Andre, Jospeh, Tina, Adrian, Marry Ann, Shaquel, Roxane, Tiffany, Lamar, Ayesha, Kedar, Asher, Beyonce, Christian, Josiah; cousins: Sinclair, John, Pauline. Viewing will be held in the Celestial Suite of Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Limited, Robinson & Soldier Roads on (TODAY) Thursday from 10:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and again at the church on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
