Funeral service for Bernard Wilfred Turnquest, 87 affectionately called “Bernie” a resident of 43 Golf Course Blvd, Seabreeze, New Providence, Bahamas and formerly of Calabash Bay, Andros will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, #18 Howard Street, Chippingham, New Providence, Bahamas. Officiating will be Rev’d Fr. Neil G. Nairn assisted by Cannon Crosley Walkins, Rev’d Fr. Andrew Toppin and Rev’d Fr. Timothy Eldon. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Soldier Road, Nassau, Bahamas.
He was predeceased by his wife: Ivy Veronica Turnquest; siblings: Eugene (Clune’) Turnquest, Cynthia Sherman, Gwendolyn Gwennie’ Duncanson, Patricia ‘Patsy’ Nichols and Eloise Cleare.
