    Funeral Service For Yelverton Williams Sr. 82 affectionately called “Sam”, “Cap” or “Bonzo” a resident of Ft. Fincastle and formerly of Conch Sound, Andros, Bahamas passed away at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Friday, November 24, 2023 will be held on Saturday, 16th December, 2023, 10:00a.m. at Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral, West Street North New Providence, The Bahamas. Officiating will be Father; Glen C. Nixon. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Gardens. He is survived by his children: Deacon Yelverton Williams Jr. (Deaconess Michelle) and Pastor Janet Rolle; adopted children: Pastor Wilson Delson and Monalisa Rena; sisters: Laurel Bartlett. Linda Gilbert (Anthony), Patrice Fernández (Weldon), Carolyn Finning; brothers: Daylen (Karen) Williams, Anthony & Jeffrey Williams, Leonard (Rosalie) Williams, Theophilus (Linda) Williams; aunts: Adline Fowler and Reinadell Marshall; sisters-in-law: Emilienne Fleurena and Elaine Styles; grandchildren: Simone D. Rolle, Ashley Mounts (Karis), Roselore Dulcio, Ashton Williams (Ébony), and Ahmad Williams; greatgrand: Ayden Storr and other relatives and friends. Veiwing will be held at Memories Funeral Home, #85 Mount Royal Avenue “In The Sharon Wilson Suite” on Friday, December 15th, 2023 at 9:30am until 4:00pm and at the church on Saturday from 9:00am until service time.
