Funeral service for Edward Rolle, 90 of Avocado Gardens off Carmichael Road and formerly of Lisbon Creek, Andros, who died at Doctors Hospital on Friday, 29th December, 2023, will be held at Christ the King Anglican Church, Ridgeland Park West on Saturday, 6th January, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. The Right Reverend Laish Boyd assisted by Archdeacon Dwight Rolle, Archdeacon Stephen Davies, Archdeacon Kingsley Knowles, Father Cameron Saunders, Father Andrew Toppin and Father Roderick Bain will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Soldier Road.
Cherished memories are held by his sons (and their spouses): James (Ernestine), Freddie (Keva), Anthony (Icelyn), Norris (Gina). David (Dianna), John Andrew (Nicola), Randy (Suzanne) and Richard (Latasha); surviving sisters (and their families): Hilda Miller, Ethlyn Cox and Jeanetta (Evrette) Moss; grandchildren: Javon (Asteen), Jameson, Jameica (Johnnie) Pierre, Jevase, Jermaine, Fredrica (Avardo) Sweeting, Freddie Jr., Edward, Ainelle, Anthonique (Kenneth) Ferguson, Roselyn (Kenaz) Bonaby, Ashley Rolle, Chakara (Toriano) Placide, Norissa (Raphael) Morris, Willdino, Willshire, David Jr., Joshua, Rachel, Javan and Ebony; 16 great-grandchildren; pre-deceased siblings (and their families): Mable Johnson, Salome Pennenman, Naomi McPhee, Orthel Rolle, Merthan Rolle, John Rolle, Alfred Rolle and Alphonso Rolle; brothers and sisters-in-law including: Rev. Moses Pennerman, Rev. James Taylor, Arlington Taylor, Samuel Taylor, Deacon Theophilus Rolle, Ruth Taylor, Lillian McKenzie and Loretta Taylor, numerous nieces and nephews; his caregiver: Mary Louidor; other family, friends and relatives including: Mable Bastian, Sybeline Woodside, Priscilla Dean, Nesline Rolle. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Grace Funeral Home, # 36 Rosetta Street on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday at the Church from 9:00 am. until service time.
