Memorial Service for JAMES ANDREW MILLER, 86 affectionately known as “Daddy Long Legs” of #3 Teddar Street and formerly of Kemp’s Bay, Andros, who died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Saturday, 16th December, 2023, was held at Church of God Cathedral, East Street & Lilly of the Valley Corner on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Bishop Dr. Carlton J. Stuart, assisted by Rev. Pascale Saunders will officiate. Cremation was held.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends including his, Brother: Albert Miller; Nieces: Rev. Princess Smith, Min. Genesta Stuart, Jennifer Deveaux, Dr. Sharlene Smith (New Jersey), Sarah Thompson, Shirley Ferguson, Janet, Bernadette & Darnell Roker, Rosemary Cooper, Brenda Watson, Rose Saunders, Renae Knowles (New Jersey), Deidre & Sandra Miller, Stephanie Higgs, Karen Capron, Christine Symonette and Maria Laynes: Nephews: Christopher Roker (Atlanta, Georgia), Carlton Roker, Peter Saunders, Phillip Paul, Dencil, Berkley, Everett, Anthony, Alberto & Tony Miller; A host of Grand Nieces and Nephews, too numerous to mention: Special friend: Renate Malarski of Germany; relatives and close friends including: Randy & Olga Forbes, Peter & Lee Peters, Hugo, Janet & Larune Russell; and all of his friends who had the honor of experiencing his remarkable performances including, members and staff of The Cricket Club.
There will be no viewing. Cremation was held.
