Funeral Service For Sidney Mordecai Russell, 77 a resident of Lewis Yard, Grand Bahama and formerly of Water Cay who died at his residence on Sumnday, December 31, 2023, will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Upper Zion Baptist Church, Pinders Point, Grand Bahama. Officiating will be Rev. Lucian Laing assisted by Rev. Wendal McIntosh and other ministers of the gospel. Interment will follow at Pinders Point Cemetery.
Left to cherish his fond memories are his children: Tanya (David) Rolle, Anya, Andreya, Derek and Eric Russell; grandchildren: TaNiya and Davae Rolle, Cayden Smith, Dorian, Alyssa, Derenique, Destiny, Desarae, Derice, Derek Jr., Derisha, Dernisha, Derren, Danaisha and Russell; great grandchildren: Tafari McIntosh, Deron Forbes, Markayla, Markeia and Marcus Dickenson and Le-Keira Rigby; sisters: Sybil Inez Pinder and Pearl Russell; sisters-in-law: Cleola and Marilyn Russell; brother-in-Law: Jonathan McMinns Sr.; numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Viewing will be held at the “Friendly Burial Society” Lewis Yard, Grand Bahama on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 12:00noon to 5:00pm
